In 2024, Caspian Engineering Solutions successfully executed a large-scale project at the “Ethylene-Polyethylene” Plant of the “Azerikimya” Production Association, involving the sandblasting, painting, and thermal insulation of various industrial components such as heat exchangers, furnaces, columns, pipelines, and storage tanks operating across the plant’s production areas. The main objective of this project was to ensure long-term reliability, protect equipment from corrosion, and minimize thermal energy loss in compliance with modern industrial safety and efficiency standards.

In the initial phase of the project, the existing worn-out and functionally ineffective insulation layers were carefully dismantled and disposed of according to environmental and safety regulations. A total of 16,600 m² of outdated insulation was removed and replaced with a new state-of-the-art insulation system, designed to provide maximum heat resistance and comply with international industrial standards.

Following the removal and cleaning phase, comprehensive sandblasting and industrial painting of heat exchangers, columns, furnaces, and pipeline surfaces was carried out. All metal surfaces were cleaned using high-pressure abrasive blasting to eliminate rust, old coatings, and contaminants. Subsequently, industrial-grade protective coatings were applied to reinforce the durability of these components. The total surface area covered with sandblasting and painting works reached 8,500 m², significantly enhancing the equipment’s resistance to external environmental factors and extending its operational lifespan.

All works were completed within a tight timeframe of 30 calendar days, adhering strictly to quality assurance protocols, occupational safety measures, and environmental compliance standards. The materials and technologies used in this project reflect modern engineering solutions, contributing directly to the increased technical capacity and operational reliability of the “Azerikimya” plant.
