Starting from 2024, Caspian Engineering Solutions launched a comprehensive industrial cleaning project at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, aimed at improving the technical condition of the refinery's infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of production processes. The project is designed to span a three-year period and is currently in its active execution phase.

As part of the project, extensive and systematic cleaning operations are being carried out across various technological areas of the facility. The initial phase included the cleaning of underground sewer lines, which involved the removal of long-accumulated debris and flow obstructions. This has significantly improved the effectiveness and reliability of the plant’s wastewater system.

In addition, internal cleaning of pipelines within the furnace and sulfur lines has been performed. These lines, often exposed to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments, tend to accumulate heavy residues over time, negatively impacting production efficiency. The cleaning process was essential in restoring operational safety and system performance.

The project also involved the cleaning of internal surfaces of air cooler pipes, where dust, grease, and chemical deposits were removed using advanced technologies. This has enhanced the heat exchange efficiency of the cooling systems and extended the service life of the equipment.

A major component of the project also includes the cleaning of underground utility lines, aimed at improving hydraulic flow, restoring system integrity, and enhancing overall technical safety across buried pipelines.

Simultaneously, mechanical cleaning operations have been carried out in multiple key areas of the refinery — including Production Site No. 5, Well No. 54, and the LPG Tank Farm No. 9, covering various storage tanks and technological pipelines. These processes have been executed with the use of modern equipment and the expertise of highly qualified personnel.

Throughout the project, all activities are conducted with strict adherence to industrial safety standards, minimal environmental impact, and a commitment to operational efficiency.
