Destructive Tests (DT)

Destructive testing (DT) refers to tests carried out to determine the mechanical properties of a material or product. During these tests, the sample is damaged or completely destroyed. The purpose is to accurately assess the material’s strength, elasticity, breaking point, and other physical parameters.

During inspections, the following key tests are performed.

·    Relative tensile test

·    Impact Toughness Testing

·    Bending test

·    Hardness Test (HT)

·    Microstructure analysis

·    Macrostructure analysis

·    Fillet break test
