Within the scope of our collaborative projects, Caspian Engineering Solutions has provided essential technical services in the modernization works carried out on the “EP-300” unit of the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant under “Azərikimya” Production Association. The main goal of the modernization process was to increase the efficiency of production processes, extend the service life of equipment, and align safety indicators with international requirements. To this end, a wide range of inspection and testing activities were conducted on various equipment, pipelines, and metal structures.

Non-destructive tests included UT, RT, MT, PT, PMI, and hardness testing, along with visual inspections. Destructive tests covered tensile, bending, impact resistance, as well as micro and macro structural analyses. For welding process management and quality control purposes, preparation of WPS and PQR documents, welder qualification, visual inspection of weld joints, and the PWHT process were successfully performed.

Additionally, during the construction phase, the physical and mechanical properties of construction materials—including concrete, sand, gravel, and cement samples—were analyzed in laboratory conditions. All technical services were carried out in accordance with international standards and fully met the project’s quality requirements. The work carried out on the EP-300 unit once again confirms Caspian Engineering Solutions as a reliable partner in complex industrial projects.
