Since 2025, Caspian Engineering Solutions has been delivering comprehensive surface preparation, anti-corrosion protection, and repair services at the No. 01 Oil Base Station (NBS) of SOCAR Petroleum. The works cover aboveground and underground fuel tanks, technological pipelines, and steel reservoirs, ensuring operational reliability and extending the service life of key infrastructure components.

The primary objective of this project is to reinforce the corrosion protection of existing fuel storage and transport systems, enhance their technical safety, and ensure their long-term operability under demanding industrial conditions.

The scope of services includes the sandblasting of external and internal surfaces of fuel tanks and pipelines using specialized equipment. This stage ensures the complete removal of rust, old coatings, and contaminants, in full compliance with ISO 8501 and SSPC surface preparation standards.

Following surface cleaning, high-performance industrial coatings are applied to protect the equipment from corrosion and chemical exposure. The coating systems used in this project are specifically selected for their resistance to petroleum products, durability, and compliance with environmental standards. Coating applications are carried out through controlled spray or manual methods, depending on the site-specific requirements.

As part of the repair scope, damaged areas on the internal and external surfaces of reservoirs are restored, including replacement or rehabilitation of flanges, fittings, and connection joints. For underground tanks, leak-tightness inspections and post-repair verifications are conducted to ensure readiness for re-commissioning.

All works are performed in accordance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, under the supervision of qualified engineers and certified personnel. Throughout the project execution, technical control documentation and detailed reports are issued to ensure full traceability and transparency.

This project plays a key role in preserving critical infrastructure at SPCAR Petroleum’s NBS No. 01 facility by minimizing operational risks, reducing downtime, and ensuring uninterrupted service.
