Project Overview

In 2024, Caspian Engineering Solutions successfully carried out a critical industrial cleaning project at the SOCAR Methanol Plant. The scope of work included the complete internal and external cleaning of heat exchanger tubes. This operation was of strategic importance for improving the plant's operational efficiency and ensuring the long-term reliability of its process equipment.

Scope of Work

  • Internal Cleaning:
    The inner surfaces of the tubes were cleaned using specialized chemical and mechanical methods to remove sediment, corrosion residues, and other contaminants. This process significantly enhanced heat transfer efficiency and contributed to the overall safety of the system.

  • External Cleaning:
    The outer surfaces of the tubes were thoroughly cleaned using high-pressure water jets and industrial cleaning agents to eliminate rust, dirt, and other deposits. This helped restore the technical condition of the heat exchangers and prepared them for further maintenance.

Applied Methods and Equipment

The project involved the use of advanced industrial cleaning technologies and high-efficiency equipment, including:

  • High-pressure hydroblasting

  • Chemical flushing and neutralization procedures

  • Mechanical jetting and brushing systems

  • Post-cleaning inspections and technical evaluations (visual and operational control)

Results and Achievements

The project was completed on time, in full compliance with all safety and quality standards, and in accordance with client specifications. Following the cleaning operations, the performance and efficiency of the heat exchangers improved significantly, and the equipment was restored to full operational readiness.
