Sangachal Terminal is a critical infrastructure facility that plays a strategic role in Azerbaijan’s energy sector. Located near Baku, this terminal serves as a key hub for the export of the country’s oil and gas products, providing essential access to international energy markets. Equipped with modern technological systems, Sangachal Terminal facilitates the reception, storage, and transportation of large volumes of oil products. Therefore, its uninterrupted and safe operation is vital for Azerbaijan’s energy security and economic stability.

In 2023, Caspian Engineering Solutions successfully carried out butt and fusion welding works of HDPE pipes at Sangachal Terminal. Within the scope of the project, a total of 298 HDPE pipe joints were professionally executed using advanced welding technologies. Butt and fusion welding methods ensure the creation of durable, leak-proof, and reliable pipe connections. Each weld was performed by certified specialists and inspected using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to guarantee full compliance with quality and safety standards.

During the execution of the works, both worker safety and environmental protection were prioritized. The project was completed on schedule within 30 calendar days by a team of experienced professionals using state-of-the-art equipment and according to the highest standards. These refurbishment activities have strengthened the technical infrastructure of Sangachal Terminal, ensuring its long-term and uninterrupted operation.
