The Continuous Catalytic Reforming (CCR) process is a widely used modern technology in the oil refining industry aimed at producing high-octane gasoline and other valuable products. The CCR reactor plays a crucial role in upgrading crude oil fractions through catalytic conversion, and its continuous, efficient, and safe operation is vital for the overall productivity of the refinery.
In 2024, Caspian Engineering Solutions successfully executed a significant overhaul project of the CCR reactors at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery. The project involved the careful dismantling of the central pipes and internal components of reactors DR-211, DR-212, DR-213, and DR-214 under the supervision of professional engineers and technical personnel. A total of four sets of internal components were included in the dismantling scope.

The dismantled internal elements were thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and any identified defects were repaired following high industry standards. The repair work was carried out by certified specialists using advanced technologies, ensuring the restored components’ long-term and reliable performance.
In the final phase, the cleaned and repaired internal components were reinstalled into the reactor systems, followed by comprehensive functional testing to confirm optimal operational readiness.
All activities were completed within 30 calendar days, strictly adhering to safety and quality standards. Through this project, Caspian Engineering Solutions once again demonstrated its professionalism and technical capabilities in the field of industrial maintenance.
