HAOR – Flare Line Refurbishment Project in the Azerneftyag Area (2023)

In 2023, the flare line refurbishment project within the Azerneftyag area of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (HAOR) was successfully completed. As part of this project, extensive reconstruction works were carried out on a 2-kilometer section of the 20-inch pipeline running from unit 305 to the flare stack. During this process, the aged and worn-out pipeline sections were completely removed and replaced with new pipes manufactured to meet high quality standards and technical specifications. The installation work included precise pipe assembly, thorough inspection of weld joints, and comprehensive leak testing to ensure system integrity.

Throughout the refurbishment, industrial safety and environmental protection were treated as top priorities, with strict compliance to all relevant regulations and standards. A team of skilled engineers and technical personnel closely supervised and coordinated the works to ensure efficiency and safety at all stages of the project. The entire scope of work was completed within 30 calendar days and handed over on schedule.

Meeting high-quality standards, this project represented a significant upgrade to the infrastructure of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery. It also reaffirmed Caspian Engineering Solutions’ expertise and capability to successfully execute complex technical refurbishment and maintenance works in industrial facilities. The project demonstrated full compliance with technical requirements and safety regulations, laying a solid foundation for reliable and long-term operation.
